Cancellation & Rearrangement Policy v1.0 · Effective 3 September 2026
NOTICE AND CHARGES.
- More than 48 hours’ notice: cancel or rearrange free of charge.
- 24–48 hours’ notice: a reasonable charge may apply only where the change causes Military Clean a genuine financial loss, normally capped at 25% of the booked service price.
- Under 24 hours’ notice: a reasonable charge may apply only where the change causes Military Clean a genuine financial loss, normally capped at 50% of the booked service price.
The percentages are maximum guidelines, not automatic fees or penalties. We will take reasonable steps to reduce our loss, including trying to reallocate the appointment where practicable. Any charge will reflect the loss remaining after those steps. We may reduce or waive a charge where appropriate.
NO ACCESS.
If we arrive for a confirmed appointment but cannot gain safe and reasonable access within a reasonable period, the appointment may be treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice. Any charge is still subject to the genuine-loss assessment, mitigation and normal 50% cap above.
IF MILITARY CLEAN CANCELS.
We will give as much notice as reasonably possible. You will not be charged for work that has not been provided. Any payment already made for the affected service will be refunded or, with your agreement, transferred to a rearranged appointment.
STATUTORY RIGHTS.
These arrangements do not limit your statutory consumer rights. Where a distance or off-premises service contract carries a 14-day statutory cancellation period, that right applies independently of this policy. If you expressly ask us to start during that period, the rules concerning proportionate payment for work supplied and loss of the right after full performance may apply.
